Archaeological walk in the Gorges de Covatannaz

Didactic discovery of the Gorges de Covatannaz with explanatory panels.

The Gorges de Covatannaz are home to an ancient sanctuary discovered in 2006. Near the Arnon, the river that formed the gorge, a number of artefacts were found, revealing that man had long occupied the area.

The long route takes you along the via salina, the famous salt route, and allows you to make a loop.
Five explanatory panels await you in the gorge, followed by five more along the Via Salina.
