La Casba at an altitude of 1373m in the heart of Jura nature, is open every weekend of the year and seven days a week during school holidays in the canton of Vaud and Neuchâtel.
La Casba is situated in the very heart of nature about an hours’ walk from the train station at Sainte-Croix. The welcoming mountain chalet can be reached on foot in summer and with snowshoes or skis in winter.
The chalet offers a varied menu with specialities such as rösti galettes, cheese dishes, organic salads, venison (when in season), buffet with syrups and natural sourdough bread baked every Sunday in a wood-fired oven. The chalet is part of the Sainte-Croix / Les Rasses gourmet stroll that can be booked at the Tourist Office.
