Thanks to a coffee roaster dating from 1920, one can delve into the world of coffee. Going from the captivating aroma of the roasted coffee beans to the delicious cup of coffee served at the end of the visit involves a complete voyage. The demonstration lasts for about one hour.
For almost an hour, the audience learns about the origins of coffee and how this exceptional product is processed to extract its most subtle aromas. Walter Balimann, a 40-year Nestlé employee, takes the audience along, sharing his passion and knowledge.
At the end of the demonstration, after a tasting of freshly roasted coffee, participants leave with a souvenir bag. This activity can be combined with a guided tour of the historic museum (the museum is currently undergoing renovation and is temporarily closed to visitors).
The cellar, with its large fireplace, can be hired for an evening or an aperitif.
