Cave de la Combe Cave de la Combe

Cave de la Combe, Valérie Marendaz

The cellar can hold 50 people and is open every Saturday morning from10.00 am to 12.00 noon or by appointment.

In this village where not a single vine was grown after the severe winter of 1956, Daniel Marendaz, who is entirely self-taught, reintroduced viticulture in 1983 since when he has created a vineyard covering 5.5 hectares where he grows no less than 14 different varieties. Deeply impressed and passionate about his work in Champagne, Daniel Marendaz discovered the traditional method and now creates a range of sparkling wines.
