L’Ecusson vaudois in Provence is one of the last country restaurants where you can enjoy simple, but delicious home-made meals.
The Auberge communale L’Ecusson vaudois in Provence is proud to say: “the owner is the Chef”. Dominique prepares tasty meals - the restaurant bears the label “home-made” - while Christian welcomes the guests in the dining room.
The meals are simple, but their taste is simply delicious, with high-quality meats served on slates. A choice of two home-made butters in eight varieties embellish the meats. There is the classic Café de Paris, but also some original versions with rose petals or one called “green fairy”. As in all good Vaudois inns, meat and cheese fondues are also on offer. During the game season, fans of this type of meat seek out this restaurant to enjoy saddle of venison carved at the table, while gourmets are after the Chef’s memorable, home-made desserts.
