La plus grande villa romaine découverte au nord des Alpes compte neuf mosaïques de qualité exceptionnelle. Les visites guidées proposées par l’Office du Tourisme permettent de découvrir le patrimoine historique et culturel d'Orbe.

En 170 après J.-C., se dressait à Boscéaz une luxueuse villa romaine. Il est aujourd'hui possible d'admirer, à leur emplacement d'origine, les mosaïques qui pavaient huit salles de la villa. Une neuvième mosaïque, découverte en 1993, attend encore son ouverture au public.


Cette visite guidée permet de découvrir l'histoire du plus grand domaine rural connu en Suisse de l'époque romaine.
