Since 2003, brewer Raphaël Mettler and his team have been brewing beer with passion and their enthusiasm is infectious: The Trois Dames beers are made to surprise, both with their bold taste and their quality. This is what makes them unique.
The name “Bière Trois Dames” (Three Ladies Beer) pays homage to Raphaël Mettler’s three ladies: his wife and two daughters.
With about ten beers available all year round and several seasonal beers, the brewery is a pleasant surprise for connoisseurs and less experienced drinkers alike.
The labels with their mix of retro look combined with a modern touch are created in conjunction with local sculptor and painter, Perret Gentil. They have their inspiration in tourist posters from the turn of the 20th Century. As to the logo, it is a wink to the golden industrial age experienced in Sainte-Croix in the 1950s, in particular in relation to Bolex/Paillard.
Located in the centre of Sainte-Croix, the brewery is open every first Saturday of the month and can be visited by pre-arranged appointment. At the end of the year, the brewery organises “La Nuit de la Fraîcheur” which translates approximately as “Chill Night” with tastings, a meal and a concert.
