Departing from Romainmôtier, Jeanne-Charlotte Bonnard offers themed walks accompanied by goats. Available all year round, they cover 4 to 6 km and are especially adapted for families (no pushchairs). An opportunity to have a fun time in a natural playground.
During the walks, Jeanne-Charlotte Bonnard, trained as a geographer, not only gives explanations about her flock of goats and how she cares for them, but also information about the forest, its exploitation and its history.
Three different subjects are explored during the excursions, which all take place around Romainmôtier, in the Valley of Nozon: ‘Strolls and the forest’ discovering the forest through a nature game, ‘Strolls and tales’ with stories about nature, and ‘Strolls and cheese’ in cooperation with the Juriens cheesemakers "Ferme Arc en Ciel" and offering a visit to the cheesemaker’s cellar followed by a tasting of goats’ cheese.
Birthdays and other excursion events can be arranged on request.
