Free flight school – Philippe Briod

Based on the Suchet in summer, the free flight school offers practical and theoretical instruction all year long.

First flight in a tandem paraglider or delta wing from the summit of Suchet, speedflying and a pendulum jump from the Day viaduct.

Activities :

Tandem: First flight in a tandem paraglider or delta wing.

Initiation & training: From start to finish, the Ecole de Vol accompanies you from A to Z in your adventure. It all starts with discovery sessions where visitors learn how to handle the glider. Before you know it, you'll be taking to the skies, and if you enjoy the experience, the school will guide you every step of the way until you obtain your pilot's licence.

The school: Whether it's hang gliding or paragliding, the school offers you practical and theoretical instruction throughout the year. Or you can simply try your hand at hang-gliding over one or more days.

Speedflying: Speedflying is a sport that allows you to fly down slopes by skimming the ground or touching the snow with your skis.

Pendulum jump: One step... then the fall, followed by a huge swing (30 m.) Guaranteed adrenaline rush.

Towing & Winching: A speciality of the Ecole de Vol to take off more easily and everywhere. Towing is a way of moving the mountain to the party site for tandem towed flights or to introduce people to the sport.
