In the Magnificat, Elizabeth calls Mary blessed among women. Mary then begins a joyful song of gratitude, called the Magnificat. The concert ends with the first part of Handel's Messiah, recounting the birth of Christ.

The Choeur de l'Abbatiale de Romainmôtier and the Ensemble vocal Horizons d'Yverdon-les-Bains present "Concert de Noël" on Friday December 15, 2023 at 8 pm at the Eglise St-Pierre in Yverdon-les-Bains.
