Mont d’Or Mountain Hut
The mountain hut at Mont d’Or is an ideal place for a stop-over when hiking through the Jura mountains on the Swiss-French border. The hut is on the edge of the forest overlooking the valley of the Orbe River.
Mont d’Or Mountain Hut, Vallorbe
The hut can sleep 25. It is open during weekends, when it is guarded by the members of the Swiss Alpine Club (CAS), but is closed during the week. It is necessary to call ahead to reserve a place.
