The Concise Museum
The Concise Museum was created in 2004 with the aim of preserving the historical heritage of the village by seeking donations of documents and historical objects from the local population. This appeal to the public had the added advantage of fostering contact among different generations.
The abundance of the material donated has enabled the Museum to organize a thematic exposition every two years. The first exhibition related the history of the local school from 1845 to 2005. The second was centred on the arrival of the railway in 1858. The third presented the village from the viewpoint of all the little shops and stores that lined the village centre between 1900 and 1950.
A fourth exhibition is now being organized around the theme of WATER. It will be inaugurated on June 5th and 6th 2010.
