The Museum of Art and Science
Ever since 1872, when the Museum was founded, the inhabitants of the little town of Ste-Croix have been donating objects linked to their own past in order to enrich its collections.
Today, the museum is a testimony to the history of a whole region. The visitor can admire collections of local crafts and industries, objects linked to the history of the town, works of art, and souvenirs brought back from travel to far-away countries.
Particularly noteworthy is the important collection of paintings donated Dr. Camille Jaccard, which have just been expertly restored. There is also an extraordinary collection of old cameras dating back to the time of the Paillard factories.
