In the company of the fisherman, a well-known figure in the little village of Yvonand, visitors can discover the joys of fishing along the upper reaches of the Lake of Neuchâtel during an early-morning boat trip.

This magical expedition will delight all those who like to explore nature – as well as those who appreciate the gourmet pleasures of savouring the catch.

The excursion begins the evening before the boat trip. Visitors spend the night at the Hôtel de la Gare, centrally situated in the middle of the village, so as to make an early start just as dawn is breaking. They will discover the magnificent landscape still swathed in early mists that gradually clear as the sun rises, as they glide along the lake surrounded by birdsong. 

On their return, the chef of the Restaurant de la Gare will prepare the « catch of the day » brought back by the « one-day fishermen » and serve it for their enjoyment in the restaurant.
