With its large personalised garden terrace, the Ecusson Vaudois is one of the best tables of the region (rated in Gault Millau). The visitor discovers refined dishes, well endowed with local products. In summer the garden provides the opportunity of benefitting from the tranquillity of the village, at the foot of the region’s only church with an onion-shaped steeple.
Situated between Romainmôtier and Orbe, the Ecusson Vaudois is one of the region’s most recommended tables. The village of Bretonnière is the starting point for numerous excursions into the nature and forests of the Gorges de l’Orbe and the Vallon du Nozon (see walks proposed by the Tourist Office).
