Managed by Virginie Girin who serves and her husband, Cédric Rey in the kitchen, this excellent table rates 14 points in « Gault et Millau ». Most of the dishes are prepared with local products, embellished with wine specialities to be discovered.
Situated near the station of Croy-Romainmôtier in the direction of Romainmôtier, the rotisserie « Au Gaulois » is open at midday on Tuesdays and from Wednesday to Sunday. A dish of the day on offer at lunchtime, and in summer customers can also enjoy the shade of the terrace.
A large grill stylised grill provides a festive and welcoming touch to guests who come from far and wide to taste the specialities of Au Gaulois. The menu is varied and based on local products, the setting is refined and ideal for an elegant and convivial meal, just a few kilometres from the major highways.
