Its network of 523 km of footpaths takes you through the beautiful wooded pastures with their chalets and dry stone walls, while affording a stunning view over Lake Geneva and the Alps. In winter, biking and hiking is replaced by cross-country skiing, downhill skiing and snow shoeing.
Visitors can savour local produce in one of the many mountain pasture restaurants and the 18 chalets making traditional Gruyère d’alpage AOP.
