Participants will find themselves plunged into an atmosphere of long ago as they encounter a hunchback or watch jugglers perform to a background of music from the mediaeval period.

The feeling of living in another time is reinforced by a setting that is steeped in history. Participants will be bewitched by the atmosphere of the immense banqueting rooms, decorated with wall paintings from the Early Middle Ages, with their sculptured, exposed beams, huge, monumental fireplaces, and mysterious stairs leading up to the library above.

The Maison du Prieur is open to visitors (individual visit or guided tour). A large mediaeval banqueting hall that can accommodate 150 guests may be reserved by contacting the company « Events & Saveurs ».
