« Fondation La Coudre » Agricultural Estate
The Domaine de la Coudre (the La Coudre Estate) is situated on the heights overlooking Bonvillars at an altitude of 630 metres and is adjacent to the « La Chassagne » nature reserve. The Domaine de la Coudre started the process of conversion to organic farming in January 2008.
The estate has several orchards and also cultivates various types of grains and cereals. There is an educational area open to the public highlighting the virtues of local endemic medicinal plants.
The building and its four enchanting box-tree lined gardens can be visited upon request.
