Open-air Markets and Fairs
Every Tuesday and Saturday morning, the market gardeners and local farmers of Yverdon-les-Bains fill their colourful stalls with an impressive array of local produce and regional specialties in preparation for the village’s bi-weekly open air market.
The various stalls are in centre of the Vieille Ville (‘Old Town’) and provide visitors with an ideal opportunity to explore local flavours and to mill about in the eclectic mix of urban and rural market goers.
On the last Tuesday of each month, the market expands into a “monthly fair” with the addition of numerous stalls featuring a variety of goods (clothing, CDs, art and craft products, second-hand goods, etc…)
