L’Arc – Literature and Contemporary Art
The house in which L’Arc is located forms part of the Romainmôtier church complex. This former dwelling has been turned into a training centre for artists.
L’Arc proposes further training to professionals in the cultural field. The premises offer them the calmness that is necessary for reflection, far away from production constraints. Seminars generally end with a little exhibition open to the public.
L’Arc also welcomes writers, who are asked to participate in the symposiums in order to combine reflection with creation. L’Arc’s mission is to combine theory with practice and to encourage discussions about the role of culture in our society. Information:
