The Small Globe Theatre
This Elizabethan theatre is a copy of the Globe Theatre in London. It is ideally situated in the beautiful setting of the Parc des Rives, overlooking the Lake of Neuchâtel.
The Small Globe is the most recent of the theatres of Yverdon-les-Bains: it was founded in 2008 to mark the 20th anniversary of the Clédar theatrical troupe in the Vallée de Joux.
The theatre opens mainly during the summer months. It offers plays, concerts and dramatized stories as well as theatre workshops for children and adolescents.
The Small Globe also offers a highly original accommodation experience : « The Night of the King », during which, for one night, the stage is transformed into a bedroom. Guests enjoy privilege of a private mini-concert, followed in the morning by breakfast featuring specialities of the region.
