Gallery 16
“Galerie 16” is in the heart of Yverdon-les-Bains’s Vieille Ville (Old City), in the pedestrian area on the Rue du Milieu. For the past several years, the gallery has been showing original, distinctive work from artists of diverse origins: Switzerland, Haiti, France, Italy, Poland, Iran, Yugoslavia…
”Galerie 16” is twinned with Port-au-Prince’s Monnin Gallery and often exhibits works of famous contemporary painters from the Caribbean.
The gallery’s decor is itself quite original, and gallery owner Léna Monnin warmly welcomes her guests, guiding them with enthusiasm among the works on display.
