The Theatre of the Echandole
The theatre is situated in the cellars of the Château in the centre of Yverdon-les-Bains. The mediaeval backdrop provides a setting that adds atmosphere and depth to performances.
The Theatre of the Echandole is a pocket theatre with a stage area of 32 m2 that can welcome up to 140 spectators. It has outstanding natural accoustics.
The theatrical season lasts from the end of September to the end of May. The theatre’s eclectic programmes are developed in response to a demanding and wide-ranging public. More than 100 performances are offered each year, including plays, concerts and dance programmes and about 40 song or comic routines.
