Museum of Yverdon and its Region
The Museum of Yverdon and its region has been set up in the Savoy castle. It presents the exceptionally long past of Yverdon and the northern area of the Lake Geneva Region. Its abundant collections let visitors discover 6,000 years of uninterrupted history, from the Neolithic Age to today.
Musée d’Yverdon et Région, Yverdon-les-Bains Founded around 1760, the Museum of Yverdon and its region is the oldest museum in the Lake Geneva Region. 6,000 years of Yverdon history are recounted in the museums halls.
”From the Celts to the Burgundians”: the entirely refurbished archeological rooms exhibit the Celtic, Gallo-Roman and Burgundy epochs illustrated by hundreds of items, most of which are presented to the public for the first time.
